Told in the words of the young soldiers themselves, this film represents the work of some of Orange County's finest voice over artists and media professionals.

Meet award winning documentary filmmaker Pamela Peak, whose work is seen nationally on PBS. Pamela will greet the audience and talk about the making of the film, and introduce you to several of the Orange County professionals whose work is brilliantly showcased in this film.

Rick Sherman of Sherman Sound Suite

Based in Orange County, CA, Rick Sherman Divides his full-time musical career into two very different, yet musically related categories: live musical performance, and music and audio production, including composing and recording music for video, film and multimedia (as well as providing several other audio services for the media industry).

Pamela first met Rick when working on her award-winning documentary Colorblind. Pamela and Rick worked so well together that she chose Sherman Sound Suite to be the recording studio for the many soldier's voices in their dramatic WWI diary accounts. Together they recorded over forty-plus voice over artists performing these dramatic readings. Peak then selected which "voices" would tell each part of the dramatic story of the Polar Bears.

Rick Sherman's work on the project didn't stop at recording the voices. He wrote original music at several points in the film, arranged music and performed all sound engineering, sound effects, music editing as well as designing all authentic WWI gun sounds in each dramatic battle scene within the film.

Pamela and Rick's creative collaboration adds much to the emotional "feel" of the film Voices of a Never Ending Dawn.

Curt Norris—Cinematographer and Technical Editor

Curt Norris is a Multimedia Producer with comprehensive experience in the areas of cinematography, editing and lighting. His project range includes short films, documentaries, national ad campaigns, commercials and PSAs for such clients as 20th Century Fox, Yamaha, Olgilvy & Mather, St. Joseph Health System, The Hollywood Reporter, Aids Project Los Angeles and The Getty Museum.

Curt has an extensive background and education in still photography, illustration and graphics software, and he has shared his knowledge by teaching theory and practical application at private corporations and guest lecturing at UCLA. Additionally, he has consistently received recognition and awards for his photographs and illustrations. Curt began his entertainment and media arts career in high school when he started a business creating stage lighting and special effects for rock bands and theater groups.

Terry Syndergaard & Bonnie Erdrich—Visual Effects

Terry Syndergaard and Bonnie Erdrich
are visual effects professionals from Orange County, CA. They created the animated gun blasts and explosions for Voices of a Never Ending Dawn.

Together Terry and Bonnie have worked on a number projects in which Terry's caricatures utilize time-lapse video to create entertainment for TV commercials, film, DVDs, and corporate films. Terry is a talented multi-media artist from traditional to digital. He has written and illustrated comic books and recreated a "Got Milk"
commercial, viewable on YouTube.com.

Bonnie Erdrich delights in creating "Celebration Animation", producing one-of-a kind animated paintings for persons being honored at special events such as weddings or retirement. She edits and animates her own computer illustrations as well as the beautiful portraits and caricatures of
Terry Syndergaard.

Terry and Bonnie are officers in the Orange County Multimedia Association (OCMMA) at www.ocmma.org, a multi-media group specializing educational and networking activities focused on technologies for website development, computer graphics, video editing, animation and visual effects.
